GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE FEES FOR PROJECTS EVALUATION AND PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS FOR June-2024 ONWARDS

Student Evaluation Division (SED) is a functional division involved in process of Evaluation of Student performances by various modes such as Term End Examination (TEE) for Theory and Practicals, Assignments Evaluation, Project Reports, Internship Reports, Field Work Journals, Dissertation Reports Practicum Reports, and Extended Contact Programme etc., for the successful completion of the Programmes of the students.

 

The Project/Practical component is conducted/submitted/evaluated at SED and Regional Centres level as per the Programme structure and Programme Guide of the learners.

 

From January 2023 admission cycle onwards, the University has implemented the Project Evaluation Fees and Practical Examination Fees for having Project and Practical component of the Programmes. Accordingly SED has notified its Notification vide No. F.No.IG/SED/Practicals/Projects/2023/12295 dated 07.03.2023 (copy attached).

 

For successful implementation of the decision of the University, a portal has been developed by SED for submission of fees for Projects Evaluation and Practical Examination for Jan 2023 admission cycle Programme onwards.

 

The student of admission cycle for Jan 2023, July 2023 and Jan 2024 are requested to submit the online fee for Project Evaluation and Practical Examination accordingly. The details of the fees are as under:

The University reserves the right to shift the students from one exam centre to another exam centre
Student may be advised to contact to the concerned Regional Centre for conduct of Term End Practical Examinations

PRE-REQUISITE FOR SUBMISSION OF EXAM FORM:
  • Registration for the courses should be within the validity period.
  • Have completed minimum time to pursue these courses as per the provision of the Programme.
  • Have/will complete my contact session, SDC activities project or any other requirement as part of the internal assessment of my respective programme and successfully declared pass in the same before I appear for the practical term-end examination.

CLASH OF SESSION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
  • If the courses registered are for different semester/year
  • If the courses are from different Programmes

INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED DURING FILLING ONLINE PAYEMENT FEE FORM FOR PRACTIAL EXAMINATION:

Answer to the question paper will be accepted in the language(s) in which the Programme is offered. Answer script attempted in any other language will not be evaluated and will be cancelled without any information. However, students have an option to attempt the examination of the courses in Hindi medium irrespective of registration of the same in English medium.

INSTRUCTIONS ARE TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE SUBMITTED THE PROJECT REPORTS FOR June-2024 TEE, BUT NOT PAID THE PROJECT EVALUATION FEES.

STEPS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF THE FEES FOR PROJECTS EVALUATION & FOR PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

(The form MUST be filled with utmost care and accuracy. No request for any kind of amendments will be entertained at the later stage)

  • Please ensure that the practical examinations for all the course(s) for which examinations are to be attended are filled.
  • In case the validity of the registration shown as INVALID or course(s) for which you are eligible for appearing in the June-2024 TEE is/are not reflected in the drop-down box, you have to contact the Registrar, Student Registration Division (SRD) on an email registrarsrd@ignou.ac.in or over Telephone No. 011-29571301.
  • Students may select payment gateway as available on the portal to make payment through Debit Card/Credit Card and Internet Banking of any bank. Fees for Project evaluation or Practical Examination once paid shall neither be adjusted nor refunded in any case.
  • Once all the parts of the form are filled, the summary of the same will be reflected on screen before proceeding for payment. Check the same carefully to avoid future consequences.
  • Take the print out of the acknowledgement for future references.
  • In some cases the status of submission of fee form is generated within 72 hours after making the payment. The University will not be held responsible, in case, the status of the fees shown as Transaction failed after the last date is over. You are advised not to wait for the last date .

REFUND OF EXCESS/UNSUCCESSFUL FEE

  • Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted.
  • In case of excess and unsuccessful payment, the student is required to approach the bank to take the refund after the issuance of Fee Receipt
  • The result shall be withheld/cancelled for the students who have taken back the examination fee through charge back process from the concerned bank or has appeared in the examination illegally.
  • The excess/unsuccessful fee amount will be adjusted/refunded as the case may be, to the account from which the payment was made after due verification of records of the concerned bank.

Declaration:
      I hereby declare that I have gone through all the above instructions carefully and have followed due procedure while filling online practical examination/project evaluation fee form. If any of my information is found to be false in future, I will have no right to claim for appearing in Practical Examination/submission of Projects etc., declaration of results and refund of fee. I shall abide by the rules and regulations of the University. I assure that I will not indulge myself in any Unfair activities relating to the Term-end Practical Examination of the University. In case I am found to be indulged in any unfair means activities at any stage, action under Statute 20(2) of the IGNOU Act may be taken against me. Further, I Certify that I have/ I will complete my contact session, SDC activities project or any other requirement as part of the internal assessment of my respective programme and successfully declared pass in the same before I appear for the practical term-end examination.

In case this self certification is found to be incorrect my result can be declared invalid.
